Hearing and eyesight are two key senses that are closely linked, and we decided this was a valuable service we needed to offer. But we needed to find a partner who shared our dedication to patient care, so we are delighted to be partnered with The Hearing Care Partnership to offer personalised, professional and expert hearing care from within our practice.

As an independent, family-owned business, they provide all the services you would expect but with a high focus on quality. Appointments can include a free comprehensive hearing assessment, advice on your hearing health, hearing aid consultations and fittings, ongoing aftercare, hearing protection and earwax removal. They can also provide support and advice for those experiencing tinnitus.
The Hearing Care Partnership works with leading hearing-aid manufacturers, giving patients access to a wide choice of modern hearing technology. Most importantly, their approach is centred around understanding your individual needs, lifestyle and preferences, so that any recommendations are tailored specifically to you.

Faisal is here at the practice every Thursday, ready to help with all your hearing needs! And you know we don’t like to recommend anything we haven’t tried ourselves, so we’ve put that to the test too! Dan’s dad, Phil (pictured), our lovely receptionist Sally, and our styling superstar Karen have all been fitted with their new hearing aids.
They’ve tried them, tested them and, most importantly, they’ll give you their honest, first-hand opinions about what it’s really like to wear them.
We’re so pleased to be able to offer this additional service within our practice, combining the personal service you already know with specialist hearing care expertise.
Booking your hearing appointment is quick and easy. You can use our online booking system via the link above, contact us by phone, or visit the practice in person and speak with a member of the team.

A hearing test is a simple, painless way to understand your hearing health and identify any changes early. At your appointment, our audiologist will take time to discuss your hearing history, listen to any concerns, and carry out a series of comfortable, non-invasive tests. Once the assessment is complete, your results will be explained clearly and in plain language, with no pressure or obligation, so you fully understand your hearing and what it means for you.
You may benefit from a hearing test if you:
Regular hearing tests are recommended, especially if you are over the age of 50 or have been exposed to loud noise through work or leisure activities. We also recommend bringing a friend or family member to your appointment. They can offer support and help our audiologist gain a fuller picture of how your hearing may be affecting everyday life.
Our hearing tests are free of charge and available to adults aged 18 and over and provide valuable insights into your overall hearing health. Most hearing tests take around 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time for a thorough assessment, discussion of your hearing concerns, a clear explanation of your results, and a review of your options if hearing solutions are needed.
If hearing loss is identified, our audiologist will guide you through the available options and recommend solutions tailored to your hearing needs, lifestyle, and budget. We offer a wide range of modern hearing aids that are comfortable, discreet, and highly effective. Today’s hearing aid technology is designed to improve speech clarity, reduce background noise, and help you hear more naturally in everyday situations.
We work with leading manufacturers including Oticon, Starkey, and Phonak, giving you access to some of the most advanced hearing aids available. With a variety of styles, colours, and features, there is a solution to suit every preference.
Following your hearing assessment, we will:
Our aim is to help you feel confident, comfortable, and supported at every stage.
If you choose hearing aids, spreading the cost can make things easier. The Hearing Care Partnership offers a simple, interest-free monthly payment plan to help you manage your budget comfortably. You 'll pay just a 30% upfront deposit, then spread the remaining balance over ten affordable monthly payments with no hidden fees or additional charges. This allows you to enjoy improved hearing straight away while paying gradually over time.
There are also other longer term plans available with low rate finance options.
We provide safe, effective ear wax removal using the latest recommended techniques. During your appointment, our clinician will assess your ears and select the most appropriate method based on your level of wax build-up, medical history, and ear health. Following the procedure, we’ll carry out a quick hearing check so you can clearly notice the difference before and after your ear wax removal. Excess ear wax can cause discomfort, muffled hearing, and may interfere with the performance of hearing aids. In some cases, it can be the sole cause of hearing difficulties.
Protecting your hearing is just as important as treating hearing loss. Prolonged exposure to loud noise can cause permanent damage, making prevention essential. We offer a range of custom hearing protection solutions for musicians, swimmers, people working in noisy environments, and those who regularly attend concerts or live events. These solutions are designed to protect your hearing without compromising comfort or sound quality. Our audiologist will help you choose the most suitable option for your lifestyle and long-term hearing health.
Tinnitus is the perception of sounds such as ringing, buzzing, or hissing in the ears and can have a significant impact on daily life. The first step in managing tinnitus is a thorough understanding of your hearing health. Our audiologist will carry out a free comprehensive hearing assessment and discuss personalised management strategies based on your results, helping you find relief and ongoing support.
